A recent study conducted by the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, examined the correlation between ergonomic knowledge and musculoskeletal discomfort (MSK) among physical therapy students during online classes. The study found that despite having sufficient background knowledge in managing MSK discomfort, the students still experienced pain and discomfort during online classes. The researchers used two questionnaires to assess ergonomic knowledge and MSK discomfort levels among 144 students. The study concluded that there is a correlation between the level of ergonomic knowledge and MSK discomfort. The results of the study will be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, and the trial has been registered with the Philippine Health Research Registry. [Extracted from the article] |
