A recent study conducted by researchers from the Department of Medicine has developed a promising multiepitope-based chimeric vaccine against dengue virus serotype 3 (DENV-3). The vaccine was designed using an in silico immune-informatics approach and was found to be structurally stable and capable of eliciting immunological responses against DENV-3. This vaccine has the potential to be an effective tool in combating dengue infection, although further studies are needed to evaluate its safety, effectiveness, and potential adverse effects in human subjects.
