Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers from the National Cancer Center in Shenzhen, China, has identified a protein called LRPAP1 as a key player in the metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma with a micropapillary growth pattern. The study used quantitative mass spectrometry to compare protein expression profiles in different histological subtypes of lung adenocarcinoma. The researchers found that LRPAP1 was highly expressed in the micropapillary group and that it promoted lung cancer progression, including metastasis, invasion, and proliferation. The findings suggest that LRPAP1 could be a potential therapeutic target for anti-metastasis treatments. [Extracted from the article]
