A recent study conducted at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada explored the feasibility of using the Fit-Frailty App to assess frailty in a non-geriatric clinic. The study included 30 participants with osteoporosis, and the primary outcome was the feasibility of using the App, measured by recruitment rate, time to complete the App, and safety. The study found that the App was a feasible tool for measuring frailty in a non-geriatric clinic, although there were some challenges, such as the need for a private room for the gait assessment. The study did not find any association between osteoporosis management and the Fit-Frailty score. [Extracted from the article] |
