Researchers from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University have conducted a study on the use of vitamin E to improve the properties of flame-retardant treated cotton fabric. The addition of vitamin E, along with an emulsifier and binding agent, resulted in a softer fabric without compromising its flammability properties. The study found that the fabric's comfort, moisture management, and mechanical properties were significantly enhanced by the use of vitamin E. This research provides valuable insights into the potential benefits of incorporating vitamin E into flame-retardant fabrics. [Extracted from the article] |
