The article describes the case of a 14-year-old girl with inflammatory polyarthritis for the past eight years with a history of progressive hand deformities for the last four years. Topics discussed include findings on medical examination, a diagnosis of arthritis mutilans secondary to polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), and clinical characteristics of arthritis mutilans. |
