| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses research which examined superior candidate plus trees (CPTS) selection and progeny testing in the tree species Melia composita. The study considered different characters of economic performance as the basis of CPTS selection including straightness, clear bole height, self-pruning ability and acute branch angle. It analyzed the correlation between tree height and morphological characters, as well as the germination percentage, shoot length, root length and plant biomass. |
