Ilker Çatak, a German-Turkish director, gained recognition for his film "The Teachers' Lounge" and is now working on a new project called "Yellow Letters." Sophie Dupuis, a Quebecois director, explores toxic relationships in her film "Solo," set in the drag world. Cord Jefferson, known for his TV writing, is making his directorial debut with "American Fiction," based on Percival Everett's novel "Erasure."
