Abstrakt: Polymer substrates have gained significant attention in various industries due to their lightweight and flexible properties. However, the low wear resistance of polymers is a major limitation in their use in high-stress applications. To overcome this challenge, researchers have developed various coating techniques to enhance the wear resistance of polymer substrates. One such technique is the deposition of Zn-Co-Ni alloys on the polymer surface. To evaluate the wear resistance of Zn-Co-Ni alloy coatings, three polymer substrates poly(acrylonitrile–butadiene– styrene) (ABS), Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and poly (3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene) (PEDOT) are utilized. The study will also provide valuable information about the ability of the coatings to withstand wear and tear and their potential to enhance the wear resistance of polymer substrates. The results of the study will highlight the significance of Zn-Co-Ni alloys as a solution for improving the wear resistance of lightweight and flexible polymers in high-stress applications.
