PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS' PERCEPTIONS REGARDING THE CONCEPT OF GAME: A PHENOMENOLOGICAL STUDY.

Abstrakt: The aim of this research is to examine the perceptions of primary school teachers about the concept of game. For this purpose, opinions of classroom teachers on the concept of game were taken. The research was carried out in a phenomenological research design in accordance with the qualitative research approach. The study group of the research consisted of 78 classroom teachers working in Ordu, Turkey. The data were collected via the "Primary School Teachers' Opinion Form on the Concept of Game" developed by the researcher and analyzed by content analysis method. In the research, in terms of the concept of game of primary school teachers; it was determined that they evaluated them in the categories of vital activity, food, health, entertainment tool, object, skill, educational activity, image and resource.
