This article reports the first occurrence of Diaporthe pseudophoenicicola causing stem end rot in mangoes in Indonesia. The study describes the symptoms and morphological characteristics of the pathogen, as well as its pathogenicity. Molecular identification confirmed the presence of D. pseudophoenicicola in the mango samples, and a phylogenetic analysis showed its close relationship with a Malaysian isolate. This is the first documented case of D. pseudophoenicicola in Indonesia, although it has been previously reported in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
