A recent study conducted by researchers at Southwest Minzu University in China examined the fecal microbiota of hybrid pigs and Tibetan pigs. The study found that the breed of pig can affect the diversity and composition of the fecal microbiota. The researchers also discovered that the specific microbiota found in hybrid pigs were related to traits such as fast growth rate and strong disease resistance. These findings contribute to our understanding of the fecal microbiota of hybrid pigs and can inform future breeding and management practices. [Extracted from the article] |
