Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Zunyi Medical University in China has found that ansofaxine hydrochloride, an antidepressant, can inhibit tumor growth and enhance anti-tumor immunity in a murine colon cancer model. The researchers treated colon cancer cells with ansofaxine hydrochloride and observed its effects on cell proliferation and apoptosis. They also explored the combination therapy of ansofaxine hydrochloride with Anti-TNFR2, a treatment targeting tumor-infiltrating regulatory T cells. The results showed that ansofaxine hydrochloride enhanced anti-tumor immunity, inhibited colon cancer growth, and improved the efficacy of Anti-TNFR2. This research provides valuable insights into the potential of ansofaxine hydrochloride as a new strategy for cancer immunotherapy. [Extracted from the article]
