Abstrakt: A recent systematic review and meta-analysis conducted by researchers at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada explored the effects of physical activity (PA) during chemotherapy on cognitive function in cancer survivors. The study analyzed 22 studies, including both randomized controlled trials and non-randomized controlled trials, and found that combined resistance and aerobic training had a small but statistically significant effect on social cognition compared to usual care. However, due to the high risk of bias and low quality of evidence in the included studies, further research is recommended to support these findings and provide specific recommendations for PA. This research has been peer-reviewed and published in Physiotherapy Canada. [Extracted from the article]
