Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, examined the relationship between sleep and cannabis use among youth during cannabis treatment. The study found that adolescents with longer average sleep duration used cannabis less often, suggesting that insufficient sleep may impede treatment outcomes. The research highlights the need for additional interventions to improve sleep difficulties in conjunction with reducing cannabis use in this population. The study was supported by the NIH-funded Center of Biomedical Research Excellence. [Extracted from the article]
