Abstrakt: Tiger milk mushroom (Lignosus rhinocerus sp.) contains secondary metabolites, namely flavonoids and alkaloids which at certain levels could be toxic and have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activities. This study aims to determine the cytotoxic activity of ethanol extract and n-hexane fraction of tiger milk mushroom (Lignosus rhinocerus sp.) using the BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test) method. The characteristics of the ethanolic extract are greenish brown and the n-hexane fraction are brown with a special scent. This research was conducted using 48 hours of Artemia salina Leach larvae. The LC50 value was calculated using probit analysis. The results showed that the ethanol extract and n-hexane fraction of tiger milk mushroom (Lignosus rhinocerus sp.) had cytotoxic activity against Artemia salina Leach. with LC50 values of 446.68 ppm and 812.83 ppm.
