Preparation of TiO2NPs by laser and study its antibacterial activity against bacterial pathogens.

Abstrakt: A TiO2NP colloidal prepared by laser ablation in deionized double distilled water by using Nd:yag laser (532nm) at different flunce with pulse number. The TiO2 species were characterized using Fourier transform-IR absorption peak, XRD pattern, and scanning electron microscope. The result of FTIR showed Ti(O-O) bond which emphasizes the production of TiO2NPs in colloidal. XRD patterns indicated standard peak coincide with the standard values of TiO2 anatase phase. SEM pictures illustrate almost spherical structure of TiO2NPs with different particles size varies with laser flunce and pulse number. The aim of study TiO2NPs antibacterial activity against two types of pathogens Enterobacter and Acinetobacter using the liquid method. The activity of TiO2NPs was used gram negative bacteria by using ager well diffusion methods with clear area of inhibition zone for TiO2 NPs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
