| Abstrakt: |
This paper investigates the effect of slope on the settlement of a single pile subjected to seismic loads in the soil layer. The finite element program (Plaxis 3D 2022) was used to represent the behavior of the piles located in slope-layered soils in Iraq. The results showed a remarkable fluctuation between the earthquakes, where the four earthquakes (Halabjah, El Centrand, Kobe, and Tohokuo) showed different settlement resultss, The highest values were recorded by a Tohokuo earthquake (A=2.72g).
