Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, found that adolescents in the area experience high rates of severe depression (15.6%) and extreme stress (6.3%). However, these adolescents are reluctant to access mental health services. The study suggests that the lack of problem-solving skills and inadequate social support are contributing factors to this low access. The research emphasizes the importance of family involvement in addressing adolescent mental health issues and suggests that community-based mental health services with a peer approach could also be beneficial.
