A recent report from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea, discusses research on Parkinson's disease. The study focuses on the neuroprotective effects of a patented yeast extract lysate called aldehyde-reducing composition (ARC) in a neuroinflammation model of Parkinson's disease. The researchers found that ARC exhibited antioxidant and anti-aldehyde activities and effectively preserved dopaminergic neurons in the brain. Additionally, ARC showed anti-inflammatory effects and potential as a disease-modifying agent for neuroinflammation-related diseases, including Parkinson's disease. This research provides valuable insights into the potential treatment and prevention of Parkinson's disease. [Extracted from the article] |
