Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia aimed to assess the level of awareness, practices, and attitudes regarding breast cancer and its screening methods in the general population. The study found that participants demonstrated a low level of knowledge and awareness about breast cancer and its associated screening methods, particularly mammography. Additionally, the practice of breast self-examination was below average, with only one out of every three female participants performing it. The researchers concluded that educational programs and health campaigns are crucial to increase awareness and improve early detection rates to reduce breast cancer mortality and morbidity.
