Abstrakt: A report from researchers at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China discusses the patency rate of radial artery grafts in coronary artery bypass surgery. The study used coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) to evaluate the patency rate of radial artery grafts compared to saphenous vein grafts. The results showed that the patency rate of radial artery grafts was lower than that of saphenous vein grafts one week after the operation. However, after one year, there was no significant difference in the patency rate between the two types of grafts. The study suggests that while radial artery grafts may have a lower initial patency rate, they can improve over time. [Extracted from the article]
