One of the main etiological factors is cardiovascular diseases and changes in cerebral circulation that occur against their background. Previous studies have shown that patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris develop hearing impairment by the type of sound perception with a predominant lesion of the peripheral part of the auditory analyzer. It has been shown that the mechanism of development of hearing disorders in ischemic heart disease and angina pectoris consists in changes in cerebral circulation, which, in turn, leads to circulatory disorders in the peripheral and central parts of the auditory analyzer. Thus, cardiovascular diseases and circulatory disorders of the brain formed against their background are a frequent etiological factor contributing to the occurrence of sensorineural hearing loss among the adult population.
