Abstrakt: Background: Malaysia scope of energy scenario referencing the Malaysia Energy Statistics Handbook 2020 stated that residential andcommercialsectorrecorded 11.7%. energy consumptionin Malaysiacomparingtothehighestenergy consumption bysector which is transport, 39.0%. Residential and commercial sector rank third after the transport and industry sector which this shows that residential and commercial sector also is one of the biggest energy consumptions in Malaysia. This old office building in Kemaman Terengganu is a residential and commercial sector building which lead to the data collection of energy consumption between 2019 till 2020 of this old building. This data collection of the energy consumption for this old office building is a way to overcome excessive use of the energy in an old building. The main purpose of this data collection energy consumption is to analyze the energy consumption involving the load apportioning, regression analysis, BEI for 2019 and 2020. This data collection of the energy consumption in this old building using surveying, interviewing and inspection methodwhich all the data that have been gathered will be used in making analysis and awareness about the energy usage in the 27 years old building. The variable that will be selected in the baseline analysis is cooling degree days and number of working days. Equipment power consumption from this old building recorded that Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning system (HVAC) recorded the most energy consumption by 58%. While, the electricity usage that has been record stated that January 2019 recorded the highest electricity usage by 72,116 kW/Year. The cooling degree days and number of working days that has been obtained are been used in the multiple regression analysis and the results of the analysis is y = 3571.4331+2290.61717x1+36.4875x2 and the R square 0.32739, X1 and X2 that has been used in the equation represent number of working and cooling degree days respectively. Other than that, the BEI for 2019 is 86.911. The valueof BEI in 2019 is more comparing to 2020 BEI by 2. 714. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
