A factorial experiment was conducted in the province of Basra, Al-Zubair district, within Al-Mashrouf farms in the Al-Raha desert area, to study the effect of irrigation intervals and different levels of polyter soil conditioner on the vegetative growth parameters of several varieties of potatoes. Three factors were used in the experiment, such as the first factor, three irrigation intervals (daily, every two days, and every 3 days), while the second factor represented 3 concentrations of polyter (0, 30, and 60) kg h-1, while the third factor was the cultivation of three potato varieties (Burien and Arizona and Reviera). The Randomized complete block design (RCBD) was followed with split-split-plane arrangement and with three replications for each treatment, and least significant difference (L.S.D.) was applied at the level of 0.05 in analyzing the data statistically. The results of the experiment showed that there were significant differences in the treatment of the triple interaction (daily irrigation of Burien cultivar plants with the treatment at a concentration of 30 kg h-1 of polyter), the highest results in the plant height and the treatment (daily irrigation of plants of the Reviera cultivar without the treatment with polyter), the highest average number of leaves and the number of the stems and treatment (daily irrigation for Burien cultivar plants without polyter treatment) had the highest average for both dry weight of shoots and leaves, while the treatment (irrigation every 3 days for Arizona cultivar plants with polyter treatment) recorded the lowest results for all studied indicators.
