The antifungal activity of five different medicinal plants namely Camellia sinensis, Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Zingiber officinale, Rhus angustifolia and Matricaria chmomilla were tested against plant pathogenic fungi Fusarium oxysporum and Aspergillus terreus (causing damping off of disease) by adding the extract to the medium. The plants were extracted with solvents methanol- aqueous extract. Among the different plant tested, the extract showed maximum antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum and Aspergillus terreus.
