Abstrakt: This document explores the impact of COVID-19 on patients who have undergone CAR-T cell therapy, a type of immunotherapy for certain cancers. The study reveals that COVID-19 can lead to severe illness and increased mortality in these patients. However, the implementation of a national vaccination program and preemptive pharmacotherapies have resulted in improved outcomes for some patient groups. The article emphasizes the importance of vaccination, access to new therapies, and the emergence of less severe virus variants in reducing the severity of COVID-19 in CAR-T patients. Nonetheless, further research is necessary to enhance outcomes in this population. [Extracted from the article]
