Topics include the formation of a unique textile enclave; the challenges of autarkic industrialization; the role of Catalan investors; the socio-economic impact on the city; the rise, growth and subsequent disappearance of more than 80 companies; and revealing the industry's significant, albeit ephemeral, impact on Burgos' industrialization. |
