A study conducted at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University in Russia evaluated the use of a cuffless blood pressure measurement method called the CardioQVARK device in different patient groups. The study found that the device met the standards set by the IEEE and showed great precision in measuring blood pressure in patients with different ranges of blood pressure. However, there was a small bias in the measurement of diastolic blood pressure, which may limit its suitability for screening purposes. Nevertheless, the device could be valuable for monitoring blood pressure over time and potentially improving adherence to treatment. [Extracted from the article] |
