Abstrakt: | A recent study conducted at Rush University Medical Center compared the intensity of pain and incidence of flare reaction following trigger finger injections using two different corticosteroids: betamethasone and methylprednisolone. The study found that while the incidence of flare and severe flare reactions was higher with betamethasone injections, the difference was not statistically significant. Further research is needed to evaluate the post-injection pain for different corticosteroid treatments for trigger finger. This study provides valuable information for patients and healthcare professionals considering corticosteroid injections for trigger finger management. [Extracted from the article] |
