Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at the University Hospital Zurich in Switzerland explored the role of the BRD3 protein in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) synovial fibroblasts (FLS). The researchers found that BRD3 regulates the expression of cytokines and chemokines in FLS and is associated with inflammatory scores in the RA synovium. Additionally, BRD3 plays a role in FLS proliferation, metabolic adaptation, and response to stress. This study provides new insights into the functions of BRD3 in RA and expands our understanding of the anti-inflammatory effects of BET inhibitors. [Extracted from the article]
