The passive and active drying capabilities of okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus) were examined in the current study using heat pump drying, open sun drying, and greenhouse drying with two distinct glazing materials (Drip Lock sheet and UV Polyethylene sheet). The fastest drying method is heat pump drying, which has a drying rate of 4.63 g/h. While UV polyethylene sheet active mode and drip lock sheet passive mode have drying rates of 4.07 g/h, drip lock greenhouse active mode had a drying rate of 4.12 g/h. Open sun drying had a lower drying rate of 2.68 g/h compared to other drying modes. According to the statistical analysis, the Prakash and Kumar model is the most effective model for drying okra among all drying methods from the chosen twelve mathematical models.
