The article focuses on the comparative efficacy of insecticides and biopesticides against the cowpea pod borer (Helicoverpa armigera) infesting cowpea. Topics include the importance of cowpea as a grain legume, the significance of the cowpea pod borer as a major pest causing economic losses, and the results of field trials indicating that Flubendiamide and Spinosad were the most effective treatments in reducing pod borer population and increasing yield. |
