The stem rot of Rajmash incited by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary is a new emerging drastic disease. The pathogen was tested with six fungicides in vitro and in vivo five fungicides were tested in the years 2021-22 and 2022-23. Among the tested fungicides namely, Saimaxonil + Mancozeb, Tebuconazole, and Mancozeb were the most effective which inhibited the growth of the pathogen completely and inhibition exhibited 100%. Dimethomorph was the least effective fungicide which showed (76.39 mm) of fungal growth with 13.19 percent inhibition over control. In vivo condition, Saimaxonil + mancozeb, and Tebuconazole were the most effective fungicides which showed the mean minimum disease incidence (19.20% and 23.10%) and maximum yield (23.60 and 20.10 q/ha) respectively. The next order of superiorly fungicides was Mancozeb, Sulpher which showed the mean disease incidence (24.62 and 29.95) and mean yield (17.34 and 16.37q/ha) respectively. Propineb was the least effective fungicide which showed a mean disease incidence (of 33.91) percent and a mean yield (14.15 q/ha). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
