The article presents abstracts of several research papers on syncope. The study Dose Responsiveness to Adenosine for Termination of Atrial Tachycardia and Development of Atrioventricular Nodal Block, by Felix O Sogade and Andrea Natale, informs that adenosine may terminate some atrial tachycardias (AT) and/or cause transient AV nodal block (AVB). The researchers conducted this study to asses the dose response characteristics of adenosine for termination of AT versus the development of AVB that could allow a diagnosis of AT. |
