The 22nd Scientific Congress of the Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation (APEC) was held in Taipei, Taiwan, from August 25 to 27, 2023. The conference brought together over 700 local delegates and more than 250 overseas delegates from 26 different countries, showcasing APEC's international appeal. The event featured renowned speakers who shared their insights and research findings, and country representative speakers highlighted unique challenges and developments in endodontics within their regions. The conference also saw a change in leadership, with Prof. Samuel Dorn assuming the presidency of APEC. New bylaws were adopted to enhance the organization's operations and governance structure, and the introduction of the Official APEC Online Seminar (OAOS) series aims to provide accessible educational content to a global audience.
