Theoretical - system-functional analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization; empirical - psychological and pedagogical diagnostic methods. Statistical - quantitative and qualitative analysis of data using methods of mathematical statistics (with the application of Pearson's hypothesis-criterion) followed by their qualitative interpretation and substantive generalization. As the study showed, the contingent of medical higher education institutions is mostly extroverted, while natural sciences, by their nature, contribute more to the development of abilities inherent in introverts. This requires a review of the process of training future doctors in natural sciences. The study showed the connection of certain aspects of self- regulation in the process of activity with introversion and extroversion, which should also be taken into account when organizing work in science classes. In particular, this is necessary when establishing communication. Extroverts learn the material better when organizing group work, where they can show their communication skills. In any activity, both one and the other type of personality work. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of each type must be used 100%, and the disadvantages of these two approaches must also be turned into advantages. The disciplines of the natural and scientific cycle, by their nature, contribute more to the development of abilities inherent in introverts. Solving problems and performing laboratory experiments requires concentration and perseverance, the ability to encode and recode information, detailed analysis, which is characteristic of introverts. Extroverts are more inclined to work in a team and are less inclined to follow rules that contribute to the accuracy of measurements and calculations, focusing not on the measurement process itself, but on obtaining a quick result.
