This paper presents a prototype design of a C-band (5.3 GHz) microstrip Wilkinson Power Divider (WPD). The WPD is intended to replace the existing commercial power divider on our lab scale Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system because of the need for a compact Radio Frequency (RF) component that can be integrated on one module Printed Circuit Board (PCB). Following the basic configuration, the first attempt of WPD is successfully fabricated but has low performance in terms of isolation between two port-output. After some investigation, the second design of WPD is proposed with modification on resistor placement. As the result, improvement can be seen in the isolation parameter of the second WPD compared to the first WPD where the isolation value increase from -11.92 dB to become -22.18 dB.
