Cryptography is the branch of computer science that deals with information security. Social networking has computerized every human emotion and action. Therefore, data security and privacy preservation need ultimate priority and attention. Ensuring security of online text data is an utmost priority. The method of converting the original information to cipher text at the sender's end is done through the method of encryption. The method of decryption is carried out to get back the original text at the receiver's end. In this paper we have proposed a novel text encryption method-VTE. VTE is nearly impossible to break using Brute-force attack even with today's computational power. It is also easy to implement, less complex and much faster than the other available text encryption techniques. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
