Abstrakt: The article discusses the current state of Gender Studies and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on practitioners in the field. It highlights the challenges faced by gender scholars during the pandemic, such as illness and increased caregiving responsibilities. However, it also notes that the field is slowly recovering and experiencing a renewed interest in publishing research. The article then provides summaries of several research articles in the field, covering topics such as ableism in motherhood, gender norms in childcare, conversion among Dutch women, experiences of Muslim women in the Netherlands, femininities on TikTok, the term "dyke" in queer archives, LGBTQ+ representation in fiction podcasts, and the creation of Gender Studies and Liberal Arts sections within Utrecht University.
