An automatic hand sanitizer dispenser based on clouds is a solution to get alcohol liquid without any physical contacts so the user will be safer from any COVID-19 viruses on the surface of the dispenser itself. An ultrasonic sensor is used for detecting the user hands, then the input from the sensor is used as for operating the dispenser pump. Another ultrasonic sensor is used for detecting the height of liquid surface stored inside a cylindrical container. The amount of liquid in the dispenser does not need to be checked visually or directly since it can be monitored remotely using an application on Android smartphone connected to clouds. A notification will be sent to the user when the height of the liquid surface inside the container is less than the limit set, suggesting it needs to be refilled. The result of the design has been successful as all modules that comprise the system functions as expected. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
