Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by the Department of Obstetrics examined the efficacy of blood parameters in predicting the severity of gestational hypertension (GHT) and preeclampsia (PE). The study found that certain blood parameters, such as APRI, PLR, NLR, DNI, and PDW, were not clinically significant in assessing the risk of developing GHT and PE or predicting the severity of preeclampsia. However, the study did find that APRI may provide a clinical indication of the progression from hypertensive pregnancy disorders to severe preeclampsia. Further research is needed to verify these findings. This study contributes to the existing literature by examining the association between APRI and hypertension in pregnancy.
