A recent research study conducted by the Iran University of Medical Sciences explores the use of nanocomposite scaffolds to promote the proliferation of spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs). The study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of nanocomposite scaffolds made from alginate, chitosan, and graphene oxide (GO) in facilitating SSCs proliferation. The results showed that the ALGCS/GO30 nanocomposite scaffold exhibited biocompatibility and facilitated the attachment and proliferation of SSCs. The study suggests that the ALGCS/GO30 scaffold could be a promising alternative for promoting SSC proliferation in in vitro applications. [Extracted from the article] |
