A recent study conducted by the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences in Belgrade, Serbia, has focused on the impact of noise on electrocardiographic (ECG) signals and their clinical interpretation. The researchers developed a unique database called SimEMG, which allows for the direct recording of both genuine EMG-noise-free and -contaminated ECG signals. This database is available as open source and can be used to test and compare different denoising methods.
