Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University explored the potential antiemetic effects of trans-ferulic acid (TFA) using in vivo and in silico methods. The researchers induced emesis in 3-day-old chicks and administered TFA orally at different doses. They also conducted molecular docking to determine the binding affinity of TFA to various receptors. The results suggest that TFA exhibited mild antiemetic effects, possibly through its interaction with muscarinic receptors. The study provides valuable insights into the potential therapeutic applications of TFA as an antiemetic agent. [Extracted from the article]
