Abstrakt: | Certain commercial samples of starches were found to contain small amounts of zinc which were sufficient to inhibit, to a large extent, the formation of hexose-6- phosphate by rabbit muscle extract. Addition of manganese abolishes this inhibition. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
