Abstrakt: |
This paper considers the multi-objective multi-item solid transportation problem (MOMISTP) in a fuzzy situation from Kundu et al. (2013) and two techniques are used for solving the MOMISTP. The fuzzy problem in which all the coefficients are in the form of trapezoidal fuzzy numbers is first converted into a crisp problem using 1-cut. Then, the crisp problem is solved to obtain the compromise solution using the fuzzy and interactive fuzzy goal programming (IFGP) method for the integer and non-integer. At last, the results obtained, integer and non-integer, from the two techniques are compared. It is noticed that the solutions obtained by both the proposed approaches are the same and relatively better when compared with the solutions of Kundu et al. (2013). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
