Abstrakt: This article discusses the outcomes and characteristics of metaplastic breast cancer (MPBC) compared to triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). MPBC is a rare and aggressive subtype of breast cancer that presents challenges in clinical management. The study analyzed the prognosis and unique characteristics of these subtypes using a matching approach. While there were differences in survival outcomes between MPBC and TNBC, the study found no significant differences in disease-free survival. The research highlights the complexities of MPBC and its subtypes and suggests the potential for immunotherapy and targeted therapy in the future. Surgeons and researchers are encouraged to collaborate to improve patient outcomes. [Extracted from the article]
