Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by Kyoto University Health Services in Japan examined the association between primary care physicians' knowledge of vaccination and their administration or recommendation of the human papillomavirus vaccine (HPVv). The study found that PCPs with higher scores on a vaccination quiz were more likely to administer and recommend the HPVv for routine and voluntary vaccination. These findings suggest that providing accurate knowledge about vaccination to PCPs can improve their administration and recommendation of the HPVv, even in the absence of active government recommendations. This research provides valuable insights into the factors influencing vaccine administration and recommendation by healthcare professionals. [Extracted from the article]
