A recent study conducted by researchers at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute in Moscow aimed to develop and validate a Russian version of the RAADS-14, a self-report questionnaire used to assess autistic traits. The study involved 1724 participants, including both non-psychiatric young adults and adults with clinically established Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The results indicated that the Russian version of the RAADS-14 can be used as a screening tool for ASD in adults, although caution should be exercised due to its discriminating properties. This research provides a reference point for the development of autism self-assessment tools for the Russian-speaking population. [Extracted from the article] |
